It s been a long journey, one that many didn’t think will last this long, many didn’t understand why it lasted this long, and many thought it will last forever. He was initially clueless, once a few points were made, everything began falling in place and the journey set for a go. Despite the confusion, doubts, hardships he focused on the ‘right’ side and that was from time to time backed by certain incidents in his life – writing skill was crucial.  An attitude and orientation that was automatically dynamic to see change and follow the path towards attaining a goal, carrying out a mission never faded from his life – until it all turned the U-turn. 
Spent a decade + studying, preparing, experiencing life in varying shades, weathered hostile and affable situations. It was an amazing, incredible journey, the last 11 years spent in different cultures, language backgrounds … Bangalore, Allahabad, Vijayawada, pune-mumbai, ranchi. Always loved the variety life offered me, enriched me with, people he got to meet, places visited … lots..

Homecoming was never a wholehearted affaire for reasons obvious. He knew he didn’t belong there anymore and his place was meant to be elsewhere. The love for North India – oops, no idea why so even now! Several reasonable reasons, answerless questions, mindboggling doubts, all rocked the life. He began asking counter questions, the very answers that he fed himself began to lose ground, fly in the air.

All that everyone want to know jus why he quit, what happened, what went wrong, why he doesn’t want to be a priest, what attracts him back home – quite ridiculous and naïve. His small brain and ever-confused mind may not be able to articulate a just and satisfactory answer to everyone’s questions. Perhaps the questions are irrelevant or wrong ones! At times, we need to ask when instead of why or where instead of what. Life teaches you; don’t think you are the best; Learn when life teaches.

 What everyone fails to ask is more than the ‘why’ he quit, why he shouldn’t quit. One question he himself shunned every time his lifeboat was rocked. He was like others until a few months back asking those simple questions. The pros and cons inevitably prearranged to show an exit for him from a way of life that was nothing but a God-willed preparation for something awaiting him still was all perfectly timed and he believes nothing happens without a reason and purpose. Where one journey ends, another begins. Bon voyage!

Wearing the crown of tennis beauty queen and that of No one spot.

     

If you thought he is all for and after pretty faces, you got it wrong there. You don’t need to be a tennis fan to have seen the name of Roger Federer. He is the man of the moment whose popularity has now hit Eiffel tower top.

 

A victory on clay in the French open – perhaps the last frontier to surpass – has earned him a place next to all time greats in tennis history. Great going hero!
